At death, a complex series of biochemical processes occur, resulting in a considerable change in the structure and composition of a body, leading to the release of various volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The intense odor emitted by the corpse begins in the putrefaction phase, characteristic of the body's decay. The corpse rots from the inside out, releasing blood and other body fluids that are difficult to eliminate, capable of penetrating all surfaces and containing various pathogenic microorganisms (infectious agents).
The correct and effective neutralization of all these bad odors is necessary to ensure their complete elimination and not their masking. Cleaning and deodorizing a place where decomposition has occurred is not something that can be done quickly or with the use of water and bleach, and cannot be carried out by domestic companies or other unauthorized companies. Only with the appropriate training is it possible to apply the appropriate techniques to correctly eliminate all unpleasant bad odors, making the environment clean and safe again.
